Banook Canoe Club is a non-profit paddling organization located on historic Banook Lake in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.
We blend high-performance training with recreational programs aimed at developing life-long athletes in the sport. With a long history of Olympians and National team members coming from within our ranks Banook Canoe Club is committed to continuing this legacy into the future.
We offer excellent programs to our community in sprint canoe and kayaks, war canoe, dragon boat, and kiddie canoe. The club is also open year round, with a grand hall and recently renovated gymnasium providing recreation and social activities for all ages.
