And the Winner of the $10,000 Mic Mac Mall Shopping Spree is... Joel Doucette!

Congratulations to Joel Doucette, the lucky winner of our recent raffle for a $10,000 shopping spree at Mic Mac Mall! Just in time for Spring, Joel can now treat themselves to a shopping extravaganza at Atlantic Canada's largest shopping centre.

We'd like to thank everyone who participated in the raffle. Every ticket purchase helped raise vital funds for the Banook Canoe Club's PADDLES UP Campaign! This campaign aims to upgrade the Club's facilities and make them accessible to all athletes, the community at large, and anyone who wants to enjoy the benefits of paddling on the lake.

Thanks to your support, the Banook Canoe Club will be able to:

• Renovate existing buildings
• Improve handling of run-off water from surrounding streets
• Improve the Club's programs and accessibility for everyone

This $5 million revitalization project is the first of its kind for the Banook Canoe Club since 1903. The funds raised will allow the Club to expand its reach throughout the Halifax region and continue serving the needs of our diverse and growing community.

The Banook Canoe Club would also like to express its sincere gratitude to the Mic Mac Mall for their generous sponsorship of the raffle. Their contribution of $10,000 in gift cards was instrumental to the success of the campaign and will go a long way in supporting our PADDLES UP initiative.
