Help Fuel Summer Fun at Banook¶

Our non-profit canoe and kayak club in Dartmouth, NS is looking for a Food Services Coordinator to run our canteen and weekly evening BBQs this summer. You’ll keep our youth athletes, families, and members energized while supporting club revenue.

The Role¶

Reporting to the General Manager, you’ll manage lunch-time canteen and evening BBQ operations with a business focus — increasing revenue and controlling costs. Expect flex hours including evenings and some weekend regattas. Professional, courteous service is a must.

Key Duties¶

• Daily cash/debit/credit management and balancing
• Monitor sales, track inventory, restock, and adjust weekly with the GM to maximize margins
• Maintain food safety standards and a clean, secure work area
• Use club-provided iPad apps for record keeping
• Help with pre-season cleaning/painting projects
