Update on Canoe'26

Summer Programming will not be at Banook Thur Jul 2nd and Fri Jul 3rd, due to Canoe'26.

If you have signed your child up for paddling programs and you are looking after your children at Banook or have hired a babysitter their programming will be at Graham's Grove from 9am to Noon on Thur Jul 2nd and Fri Jul 3rd.

Please drop your child off at 9am at Grahams Grove, (45 Grahams Grove Road) and pick them up at Noon.

The Graham's Grove programming is in the morning only and parents are responsible for their children's supervision for the rest of both days.

The large field at Graham's Grove can be used by the parents and babysitters while their children are in the fenced area at Graham's Grove.

While lifeguards will be on site their role is to ensure water safety, first aid, and responding to emergencies, there will be no designated swimming area at Graham’s Grove.

There will be dragon boat practice and dryland training both days.

If you have signed your child up for Activity Camp for week 1 Thur July 2nd and Fri 3rd or Full Summer Combo - Paddling & Activity Camp the camp will be held at Christ Church Dartmouth (61 Dundas St) on Thur Jul 2nd and Fri Jul 3rd.

The leaders of Activity Camp, Swimming and Paddling will be sending you more detailed information about the programming soon.

Also Kiddie Canoe registration is now open on the registration site.

Kiddie Canoe will start Mon Jul 6th at Banook Canoe Club.

Starting Mon July 6th all summer programming will resume at Banook Canoe Club.

Please be patient on Mon July 6th when we resume our normal programming, there will be activities around Banook dismantling the Canoe'26 athletes village.

Parking will be difficult around Banook, plan to park further away from the club than usual.
