Once your or your household's account profile has been created, you can click on the box that reads "Participant" to register a participant in one of Banook Canoe Club's fall paddling programs. Each participant under the age of 18 will be asked to identify a parent or guardian.
You will then be asked to select the age group of the participant from a drop down menu. Only the program options available for that age group will then display. Note: if your child has been invited by the coach to join the High Performance training group, you will be provided with the password to complete an HP registration.
Please take note of the program description, as it includes details of the training schedule for a typical week. The program description also includes the total price of the program. For the U16 and older age groups (where participants are 15 yrs and older), HST is included. For U14 and younger, HST is not applied.
Payment shall be by e-transfer, either in full in September, or in 3 equal monthly payments due the first of September, October and November. Banook Canoe Club's Refund Policy is provided within the registration page for easy reference.
In addition, there are a series of waivers that you will need to read and provide an e-signature. These waivers include:
Use the "Continue" button to proceed through the next steps, such as identifying an emergency contact person, and then finally, reviewing the details of your purchase. At the final page, you will be prompted to identify the mode of payment from a drop down menu. E-transfer instructions will be displayed on screen.
The final step is to click on "submit registration". Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email from the system that also includes reminders for the fall program's training schedule. If you have additional registrations to complete, you can return to the start, by selecting "Register" from the menu on the left-hand side.
