Thank you for joining Banook Canoe Club and participating in our programs. We are happy to welcome you!
If you are a first time user of RAMP, you will begin by creating an account for your household, using your email as your username, and creating a password. After creating an account, you can add Family Members to your account, using the menu displayed on the left hand side of the screen.
If you already have an account, you just need to login!
Program registration in RAMP is completed one participant at a time. You begin by selecting a participant from your list of family members, and then select the age group of the participant from a drop down menu. For participants that want to paddle, please choose “sprint competitive [age group]”. If you need help with selecting age category, we can help.
PLEASE read all of the information that is provided for each of the packages of interest. Sometimes, there will be special instructions, with passwords and member discounts!
If you are interested in Activity Camp only (and not in becoming a member), please note that you do not require a membership to purchase that package. However, Banook Canoe Club Members get a significant discount on weekly Activity Camp fees. For Membership, for 2023, we are using RAMP and it is done differently than in previous registration tools.
For those who want to get a Family Membership, we recommend that you add “Family Membership” to your family’s first participant package … then you can add paddling, or Activity Camp, or boat storage, etc. Swim lesson registration is not yet available but will open later this spring.
For each subsequent participant registration in your household, you can bypass the membership options, and go straight to activity packages. Only one Family Membership fee is applied to a household’s account. Our Club administrators will monitor registrations, and are able to help out behind the scenes to make corrections as needed.
Payment shall be by e-transfer, either in full in May, or in 3 equal monthly payments due the first of April, May and June. Banook Canoe Club's Refund Policy is provided within the registration page for easy reference.
In addition, there are a series of waivers that you will need to read and provide an e-signature. These waivers include:
Use the "Continue" button to proceed through the next steps, such as identifying an emergency contact person, and then finally, reviewing the details of your purchase. At the final page, you can add a promo code if applicable (more info below), and will be prompted to identify the mode of payment from a drop down menu. E-transfer instructions will be displayed on screen.
The final step is to click on "submit registration". Once submitted, you will receive a confirmation email from the system. If you have additional registrations to complete, you can return to the start, by selecting "Register" from the menu on the left-hand side.
For many of our returning program participants, we recognize that using RAMP for the first time could be a bit confusing. We are here to help you!

BCC is using promo codes within RAMP to apply discounts to registration fees in specific circumstances. Each of the available promo codes are listed below, along with guidance about who these are intended for and when they can be used.
For families that register more than one child in summer paddle programming (e.g. U10, U12, U14, etc.), they are eligible to receive a discount on their second, third, fourth (etc.) paddler registration.
