The Banook Canoe Club is a non-profit organization, managed by a volunteer Board of Directors. At BCC, we stress a family recreational atmosphere and a competitive canoeing and kayaking environment. Banook takes pride in its historic clubhouse and encourages members to take part in the preservation of the facility and the stewardship of the lake. Banook launched a Capital Campaign on May 14, 2011 and will issue charitable receipts for cash donations through the Nova Scotia Amateur Sport Fund.
