Fall Water Safety

Our cold water policy is now in effect, all paddlers must wear an approved PFD in accordance with the CKC Code of Safety.

Also, morning paddling practices should have ALL athletes wearing PFDs and ALL boats with a red light on the front and a white light on the back.

NO EXCEPTIONS

Thanks Dartmouth!

On Nov 6, Banook Canoe Club was successful in securing $5000 in capital funds from the Participatory Budgeting by District 5 Councillor Sam Austin. Participatory budgeting allows residents to have a direct say in how money is spent.

This funding will help to replace the gym exit fire escape stairwell and upgrade old gym equipment and weights for our athletes and members.

Banook U15, U19 & Masters Fall and Winter Training

Our fall and winter off-season training is now open for registration. Check out the program details and sign-up through the web site.
