All members are required to provide a separate cheque that will be cashed in early 2018 if volunteer credits aren’t earned. Typically, 1 hour of volunteering = $10 credit.

  • Family: $350 (+ volunteer cheque $100)
  • Individual, 13 and older : $240 (+volunteer cheque $50)
  • Two seniors 65 plus: $240 (+volunteer cheque $50)
  • Individual senior 65 plus: $120  (+volunteer cheque $50)
  • Social 25 plus:  $50 (+volunteer cheque $50)

HST applies to all memberships pricing.


HST applies to most paddling fees. Ask us for details at time of registration.

 U11 to U15 Paddling Programs (July 3 to August 25)

  • First 2 athletes $370 each
  • Per additional athlete $220 each

High Performance U16 and above Paddling Programs (July 3 to August 26)

  • Performance Training 6 days a week $300
  • KC/ADCK Competition fee (includes HST) $72
  • KC/ADCKC Competition fee for athletes older than U19 (includes HST) $90

Adult Training May 1 to October 31

  • Adult training $150
  • Adult early morning (only) training $110
  • CKC/ADCKC competition fee (includes HST) $92

Banook Canoe Club (BCC) is a non-profit organization, established in 1903 and managed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

This year many positions will be opening as members have been on the board for two or more years. We are seeking new board members to continue our success and take BCC to new heights.

The responsibilities of the board members are:

· Attend the monthly board meeting. 2.5 hrs. The board acts both in a functional & governance manner.
· Board members assist with projects relevant to their area of responsibility.
· Manage sub committees if required and report back to the board.
· The board works towards achieving the vision statement while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

The positions that are opening this year are:

· President
· Vice President
· Paddling Chair
· Fundraising Chair
· Membership Chair
· Accounting Chair
